Tell us about Cobra Kai?

“Cobra Kai” is a continuation of the Karate Kid movie franchise. It takes place 30 years after the original film and follows the lives of Daniel Russo, Johnny Lawrence and a new generation of karate kids.  The first 2 seasons are out on YouTube Premium and we just got picked up for season 3!”

How are you similar to your character, Moon? And how are you different from her?

“Moon and I are both very outspoken about what we’re passionate about.  Empathy is a large part of who I am, and I believe Moon is the same way.

I take solace in my time alone. I am the type of person to recharge in my room by myself and then go out and hang out with friends.

Moon is the type of person where she loves to be around people constantly.  She’s very dependent on other people and is drawn to confidence and power-driven characters like Yasmine and Hawk.”

Any funny stories/moments on set/bloopers?

“Honestly, any moment with Gianni DeCenzo, who plays Demetri? He always cracks me up on and off camera.”

What would be your idea of a perfect day?

“My perfect day would start with a hike that ends with a beautiful view. I would pack a picnic and take lots of pictures. Then I would probably end the day with a musical or concert. I love going to live shows.”

Three people—dead or alive, real or fictional—that you’d like to invite to dinner?

“Real: Audrey Hepburn, William Shakespeare, and Meryl Streep.

Fictional: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.”

Dream concert ticket (any band, any decade)?

“Any Imagine Dragons concert, front, and center.”

Favorite movie?

“My classic answer is always “Peter Pan,” and my most recent answer would be, Million Dollar Baby.”

Karaoke anthem?

“Anything Disney or Musical Theater. I’ve surprisingly never done karaoke.”

Favorite artist?

“It’s always changing. I’ve been listening to a lot of Daniel Caesar and SZA recently.”

Last fashion item purchased?

“I just recently got these really comfortable overalls from Target.”

If you could only eat one thing from now on, what would it be?

“Sushi. Always sushi.”

Tell us a secret/ Fun fact about yourself?

“I slept walked to my neighbor’s house in the middle of the night a few years ago and my parents thought I got kidnapped until my neighbors brought me back home.”

What does popular mean to you?

“Something that a majority of people connect with on some level.”

Can you tell us about any other projects you have coming up?

“I got to work on an episode of a new show on TNT called, “Tell Me Your Secrets,” which should be coming out this summer. And stay tuned for some more exciting projects!”
