This is the official music video for “Pass Out” by the English rapper Tine Tempah. It is the lead single from his debut album Disc-Overy and his debut single on Parlophone. The song was a digital-only release and was available to download in the United Kingdom on 28th February 2010. Producer and writer Labrinth provides vocals on the song's hook, but is uncredited. A remix featuring Snoop Dogg was released in the US on 16th November 2010 for digital download. The music video is focused around Tinie rapping and Labrinth, who sings the chorus, coming into the shot. Other UK rappers, including JME from Boy Better Know and G Frsh, also make cameo appearances. The video on Parlophone's official YouTube channel has had over 37 million views since its upload on 23rd December 2009. Tim Bown, the director of the video, said in the behind-the-scenes video that they were trying to create graphical elements, including laser-cut props. It won Best British Single at the 2011 BRIT Awards and Best Contemporary Song at the 2011 Ivor Novello Awards. The song is featured on the Madden NFL 12 soundtrack. In 2011, Labrinth revealed that Tinie will be releasing "Pass Out" in the U.S., featuring a major player in the American rap game. The single first debuted on the UK Singles & RnB chart 7th March 2010 at No. 1, selling just over 92,000 copies. It also debuted on the Irish Singles chart 12th March 2010 at No. 13. In its fourth week on the chart, the single climbed to its peak position of No. 6, where it remained for two consecutive weeks. The single spent a total of four weeks in the top 10.
