The single Call My Name was released on May 18th 2012 and reached no.1 on both the UK Singles Chart and Irish Singles Chart. The album A Million Lights reached no.2 on both the UK Singles Chart and Irish Singles Chart. The music video features Cheryl strolling down a tunnel and into a massive open storm drain wearing a neon yellow top, multicolour sweat pants and high heeled shoes. She approaches a group of men there, the song begins and they start a choreographed dance. The video is interspersed with clips of Cheryl in recline on a sofa.
This is the lead single from Cheryl’s album A Million Lights, and the track debuted at number 1 on the UK singles chart, in the process becoming the fastest selling single of 2012. The track was composed and produced with the help of Calvin Harris and, following Fight For This Love and Promise This, is her 3rd number one single. It’s also her first under her new name Cheryl previously going by the name Cheryl Cole, and before that Cherly Tweedy, the latter while with the group Girls Aloud. She has also been a judge on the show the X Factor in the UK, and a brief stint in the US as well. The video for the film was shot in Downtown Los Angeles and directed by Anthony Mandler.
