Despite his recent appearances in an insurance ad, Iggy Pop was a legendary wild man. Known for his wild drink and drug days, you can see how Iggy’s mind works in this document outlining the concert rider he requires. It covers everything from the drum kits to his ideas for a new reality show. In 1977, Iggy was unable to control his drug use and checked himself into a mental institution to try to clean up. If you went by what the newspapers wrote you probably wouldn’t realize that Pete Doherty was even a musician. He has been caught in possession of illegal drugs more times than most people have had hot dinners. In 2003 he broke into band mate’s Carl Barat’s flat and stole various items, including an old guitar and a laptop computer. Watch this interview with Doherty below.

He might have been a clean-cut popstar in his Wham days, but George Michael has certainly made up for it since. In 1998 he was arrested by an undercover policeman for “engaging in a lewd act”. He was also arrested for posession of Class C Drugs. If that wasn’t enough he was found unconscious in his car and caused an obstruction in northwest London. He was found by police slumped in his car and later banned from driving for two years.

The Culture Club singer was known for his wild ways. Addiction to heroin and prescription drugs. In 2006 a Manhattan judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Boy George after he failed to appear in court for a hearing on why George wanted to change his sentence for the false burglary report. More recently, in Janurary 2009 Boy George was sentenced to 15 months in prison for the assault and false imprisonment of male escort, Audun Carlsen which you can watch in the video below:

You have to be pretty wild to be arrested an airport for wearing clothes. Motley Crue were arrested for wearing spiked stage wardrobe through Customs as they were considered as “dangerous weapons”. Singer Vince Neil was arrested for arriving with a small carry-on filled with porn magazines. Don’t forget that infamous Tommy Lee tape with Pamela Anderson.
