Top 5 Halloween Costume Ideas

Posted by: Muzu Team In: MUZU.TV

Halloween is coming fast and we’re been getting flustered here at MUZU.TV about what costumes to wear. How about you?
So, we’ve decided to take some cues from some of our music idols, and thought we’d share our Top 5 Halloween Costume ideas with you to inspire yours.

Plus, be sure to check out the Halloween Video Playlist competition here, giving you the chance to win a €500 voucher to www.xmusic.ie

1. Lady GAGA
There’s always an excuse to dress up as Lady Gaga, but sadly most bosses and headmasters don’t subscribe to this notion. Well, it’s Halloween, so no one can say anything to you about it. Copy what she’s wearing in any of her videos and you’re sure to turn some heads. Don’t forget the Bowie inspired lightening bolt on your face! If you’re more into the Poker face look, nab one of your mums 70’s bathing suits and you’re in business.

2. Boy George
You can’t go wrong dressed up as Boy George. Well, I guess it depends on what you get up to really! He’s out of Jail and has shed a few pounds, so there’s a lot of embellishments you could make to his standard look. A few key things to have at hand to perfect your look — some coloured pipe cleaner and feathers, fingerless gloves, a black hat and a lorry load of eye make-up. You can never have enough eye make-up!

3. Michael Jackson
What better fitting tribute to the King of Pop than to dress up like him for Halloween. There’s so many looks and styles to choose from, you could dress up as him for the next 5 years and not wear the same thing twice. The Thriller look is a classic, but why not try something different this year…He looks pretty bad ass in Rock With You. Better get stitching those sequins!

4. Lemmy (from Motorhead)
All you need is a massive fake mole (imitation is the greatest form of flattery), a handlebar tash, a long wig and some dirty leathers or jeans and you’ve got this one nailed.

MOTöRHEAD – I’m So Bad (Baby I Don’t Care) on MUZU.

5. Britney Spears
If you’re already a school girl see number 4, but if you’re more of a Lemmy look-alike here’s the perfect outfit for you this Halloween. If people call you names, it’s only because they’re jealous of you!

Have fun, go crazy, and make sure to brush your teeth after all those sweets!
