McFly are a British, BRIT Award winning pop rock band who first found fame in 2004 with their single “5 Colours in Her Hair” from their CD “Room on the 3rd floor”. “Room on the 3rd Floor” is McFly’s first album, which debuted at number one in the UK albums chart, breaking the world record for the youngest band with a Number One album, a record previously held by The Beatles.

Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band that first came on the scene in 2007 with their single “S.O.S” on the self entitled album “Jonas Brothers”. The song peaked at #13 on the UK charts and #21 on the Irish charts. Now they have sold over 8.2million CD’s worldwide.

3. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is the new-found phenomenon that has swept over the UK and Ireland in September of last year with her no.1 hit “Love Story”, from her album “Fearless”. “Love Story” was the first single released in internationally and peaked at no.2 in the UK charts.

4. Busted
Busted were a BRIT Award winning British pop band. They sold over 3 million albums worldwide, winning two BRIT Awards, Record Of The Year and performing on several sell-out arena tours. They were put on the map after their single “What I go to school for” reached no.3 on the UK charts.

5. Miley Cyrus A.K.A Hannah Montana
Miley Cyrus, to most people, means Hannah Montana, or Disney. But, she has had many Top10 hits as both “Hannah” and Miley in recent years, such as “The Climb”. Her first single, as “Hannah”, was “Best of Both worlds” and debuted and peaked at No.43 in the UK. Miley then released an album entitled “Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus”. Her first single off this album, as Miley, was “See you again” and reached No.11 in the UK.
