Leftfield have confirmed that their first live performance in over 10 years will be at this year’s Rockness Festival. Leftfield are considered to be one of the most influential acts of electronic music and are known as one of the first truly great crossover artists, trailblazing into previously unexplored territory and paved the way for acts that followed them such as The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers.Here is a video of what you can expect from Leftfield at the festival.

Also confirmed for the festival are Drum and Bass act ‘Chase & Status and the German electro house maven ‘Boys Noize’. These are all added to heavyweight list of acts already confirmed for the festival such as The Strokes, Soulwax, Friendly Fires, 2 Many DJs, Annie Mac, Club 75 faturing Xavier De Rosnay (Justice), Cassius, Busy P and DJ Mehdi and Rob Da Bank.
The festival takes place in the beautiful shores of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands from Friday the 11th of June till Sunday the 13th. Also a first for the festival this year is in a Scottish Festival exclusive is the arrival of the Arcadia Arena making one of its first appearances outside Glastonbury.
