Muzu TV are proud to announce that tonight’s fundraiser for Barretstown will be streamed live globally via the Muzu website. In what could well be a ‘first’ for Ireland the gig will take place in the Olympia and will feature a host of top acts such as David Gray, Paddy Casey, Duckworth Lewis Method, Jape, Villagers, Gemma Hayes and more, all performing songs by their musical heroes including Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen.
Barretstown is a specially designed camp that helps children with serious illness, forget about their troubles by providing a programme of adventure, activities and fun. The charity aims to raise as much money as possible through the generosity of the Irish community and music fans logging on to watch the live gig from both home and abroad. The live broadcast will available at http://www.muzu.tv/inspirationslive and will commence at 19.30 GMT tonight in the Olympia Theatre. The broadcast will be free and viewers are encouraged to click thru and donate to Barretstown. It’s a great way to make a contribution to help children with life-threatening illness.
