Eyjafjallajokull – Music Videos for this troubled week!
In light of the recent problems to do with Iceland’s infamous Eyjafjallajokull volcano we thought we would provide some entertainment based around it through sharing the best Volcano-related music videos that have ever seen to swarm over the earth.
Ruby Sessions – Damien Rice – Volcano on muzu.tv
1. Up first is Damien Rice- Volcano, I’m sure the intention behind this track had nothing to do with it being related to the most annoying, implausible and inconvenient thing that Global warming has ever seen to have thrown at us but thanks to its name, it has. Released on Damien Rice’s 2002 album “O”, his songs have stuck around ever since, lets hope that’s not another way its related to the volcano problem.
Ash – End Of The World on muzu.tv
2. Next, unsurprisingly is Ash’s song- End of the World. This was the third single to be released on Ash’s final album with its music video being shot in Tokyo. Currently the ash that the Eyjafjallajokull volcano released is spreading over the Atlantic Ocean and is set to be heading for America. We like Ash, but not that kind of ash.
The Airborne Toxic Event – Sometime Around Midnight on muzu.tv
3. Thirdly is the Airborne Toxic Event- Around midnight. Kind of self explanatory really. The amount of panic this “cloud of terror” has caused is unbelievable, and we could safely say that this is the most hated volcano in the world. This single was released in 2008 and did the best out of all ATE’s songs on their album, reaching 33 in the UK music charts.
The Presidents of the United States of America – Volcano on muzu.tv
4.Fourth Track on our list is The Presidents of The United States of America- Volcano. Released in 1997, The Presidents of The United States of America made their final appearance ever just last year at “Supersonics”. We are hoping that this is the final appearance of Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano although apparently the last Volcano eruption that was within an impressive 100-square-mile radius, lasted continuously for up to two years, as it was a “lazy” eruption. Great!
Michael Buble – Home on muzu.tv
5. Finally on the list is Micheal Buble’s – Home. Released in 2009, with an album that took home a Grammy for Buble just this year, under Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. With everyone stranded and scheduled airline reviews at the end of the day, with all this hype, we all just want to go home.
