One of the recent delights playing in the MUZU.TV office lately has been Ed Sheeran This young (born in 1991!) singer songwriter has a wealth of songwriting history behind him, but his commercial success in 2011 has seen a rapid rise in popularity after his self released No.5 Collaborations Project climbed to no.2 in the itunes charts without any promotion or label backing. In present times where the music industry climate is so unforgiving and harsh, it’s no mean feat. Ed was quickly picked up by Atlantic records, and as they say, the rest is history.
The icing on the cake for young Ed, must surely be the fact that he now has the one and only Ron Weasley featuring in his video for Lego House. If that’s not a sign that you’ve made it, I don’t know what it.
