Smith Reunion Rumor Untrue
A breaking news story that we we can now confirm is untrue has leaked on the internet that one of the greatest British bands ever were set to reform. The Smiths were apparently deciding to put their differences aside for a series of live shows in autumn.
Morrissey an Marr were set to reunited their legendary songwriting partnership after finding some common ground.
It would’ve been the first time that the legendary Mancunians have performed since their split in the late 80s. The split was fueled when the band suffered legal issues which resulted in Mike Joyce (Drums) and Andy Rourke (Bass) suing.
A source revealed the 80s icons have been in talks with a well-known promoter and where inspired by the reform of fellow Mancunians outfit, The Stone Roses.
However The Smiths had previously turned down a US Tour worth 10s of millions and Mike Joyce was quoted today saying “It’s not happening”. But you never know, watch this space..
