Damon Albarn official music video for Apple Carts. Apple Carts is a song performed by Damon Albarn.

Damon Albarn never sleeps. Not content to be the mere frontman and songwriter for one of the biggest UK acts in history with Britpop legends Blur, or as the guiding light for hip-hop experimentalists Gorillaz, or collaborating with Clash bassist Paul Simonon on Indie super-group The Good, The Bad, The Queen, nevermind his down-and-dirty funk super-group Rocket Juice and The Moon with Red Hot Chili Peppers funk-maestro Flea, his role as chief composer for stage adaptation Monkey: Journey to the West or producing the new album for soul legend and close friend Bobby Womack – he’s at it again, taking up the musical reigns for a new opera entitled ‘Dr Dee’ based on the life of John Dee, medical and scientific advisor to Elizabeth I and inspired by comic book author Alan Moore. This video for Apple Carts is a sneak behind-the-scenes look at the prolific artist doing what he does best. Apple Cart is a song that features on the Dr. Dee opera and which will be made available as an album release on 7 May 2012. Damon Albarn has also collaborated on a number of other different artists including Fatboy Slim, Massive Attack, Amadou & Mariam and The Rentals. Albarn was born in Whitechapel, London in 1968 and was recently voted the 4th greatest frontman of all time in a 2010 UK Poll for Q Music magazine – which placed him behind Liam Gallagher, Bono and Freddie Mercury.
