David Guetta (real name Pierre David Guetta) was born 7th November 1967. He is a world-renowned French house-music producer and DJ. His career at the age of 17, when he started Djing at the “Broad Club” in Paris. He discovered house-music when he first heard a Farley master Funk track on French radio in 1987. The following year he began hosting his own club nights and in 1990 he released a “Nation Rap” hip-hop collaboration with French rapper Sidney Duteil. In 1994 he released his second single titled “Up & Away” ft. American singer Robert Owens that became a minor club hit. In 2001 along with Joachim Garraud he founded Gum Productions where he released his first hit single “Just A Little More Love” ft. American singer Chris Willis. Shortly after this the album Just A Little More Love was released in 2002 on Virgin Records and sold over 300,000 copies. He then released another compilation album, “Fuck Me I’m Famous”, in 2003, named after his party in Ibiza. Since the he continues to release recording compilations under that title. His second studio album, Guetta Blaster was released in 2004, the third studio album, Pop Life in 2007 and the fourth studio album, One Love in 2009. He had his “International Breakthrough” 16th June 2009 when TThe Black Eyed Peas released their track “I Gotta Feeling” produced by David Guetta as their second single from their studio album, “The E.N.D.”. It instantly became a worldwide hit topping the charts in seventeen countries. In 2011 it was the most downloaded song of all-time in the US with almost 7.5 million downloads, selling more than 1 million copies in the UK alone. He was nominated twice for his work with The The Black Eyed Peas at the 52nd Grammy Awards.
His latest album “Nothing But The Beat” was released 30th August 2011.
