An icy kiss - A double measure of vodka over half a glass of crushed ice. Top up with a mixed fruit smoothie, add a dash of angostura bitters and down it in one. Do three of four and you end up with numb lips and a spinning head! Can't wait for the Manchester gig, Lee

Just tested the FR @ Koko, and to my surprise it's absolutely great. One part Famous, one part Renault, one and a half part Malibu (or possibly some other cocnut cream). Strong and sweet at the same time - with an nice aftertaste that lasts. Not unlike Frightened Rabbit.

Here's a self composed and yet untested mixed drink, I like to call FR @ Koko. F - Famous Grouse Scotch Whisky R - Renault Cognac, black version Koko - Malibu Serve with ice, because it's going to be cool. Se you guys in London March 10th.

My Favourite Cocktail has to be Old Fashioned not only as it forms part of my favourite FR song but just as its so amazingly tasty! * 4.0 cl. Bourbon, Scotch or Rye whiskey * 1 sugar cube * 2 dashes Angostura bitters * 1 splash soda water MMMM MMMM MMMM !!

"Transatlantic Snow Tan" (see video) - 2 pts Hudson Baby bourbon (Maker's Mark if HBB unavailable) - 1 pt St-Germain Elderflower liquor - Splash of lime/lemon-infused Simple syrup - 2x lemon-peel frabbit-ears (fastened by toothpick for critical garnish) - Shake. Pour. Drink.

curried mango punch 1 part mango vodka, 2 parts orange juice, tablespoon or two of lemonaid mix, squeeze of lemon juice, couple dashes of curry powder, ice. Shake and serve.

Although this may sound a bit sketchy, this drink smells and tastes like summer and in the land of ice and snow (Canada) we can use as much summer as we can get. It goes as follows. Get a large pail or drink bowl. (we use a bucket) Mix... 1-26oz Gin 1-26oz Vodka 12-Light Beer (of your choice) we use Coors or Alexander Keith's. 4- Cans of Pink Grapefruit Concentrate juice mix 2-Bags of ice Stir and get it in ya !!! "The Old, Old Fashioned" is a tasty drink that tastes like cut glass, dust and paint thinner. Take two shots of rough bourbon, add a teaspoon of Adnams Broadside strong ale, orange zest, Agnostura bitters, fresh lime, crush ice, soda water and a teaspoon of cherry cola. It's a winner.

Why hello there, this is a cocktail i invented called "the gentle ball buster" its one part malibu (25ml), one part smirnoff vodka (25ml) and lemonade as the mixer. It doesn't taste strong but drink enough of it and it'll have you on yer ass ;-)

The Ground Zero came into being in a kitchen in Puerto Rico two years ago through the collaborative efforts of my sometimes roommate Melissa, a wayward visiter, very many cigarettes, and me. -In a tall glass, pour quite a lot of vodka over ice. Maybe half way. Maybe three-fourths. -Fill the glass almost to the top with green tea. Use the pre-packaged store-bought stuff...it's easier after you've had a few. -Top off with lime juice. Cheers.

Gin Lemon 1. Get a glass (no larger than 1/2 pint) 2. Pour in a quadruple shoot of gin 3. Get a lemon. Cut it in half. 4. Squeeze the lemon juice from half a lemon into the glass. If pips make there way in there, don't worry, that's a sign you're on the right track. 5. Fill whatever space is left in the glass with sparkling water. 6. Voilà. Please note this drink is best enjoyed when you are absolutely battered.

The Excalibur. 1 part peppermint schnapps, 1 part cinnamon schnapps, 1 part citrus vodka, 2 part cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, 1 part Cola, all the flavors of the rainbow. seriously though, it actually tastes delicious... also, love you guys.

You are currently reading about Frightened Rabbit. They are a band who live in Glasgow and have done for some time. They record in bedrooms, cupboards and kitchens. Anyone can be in Frightened Rabbit. They have played some live shows in this city, but want to meet people from other cities, in order that they can come and blow into tubes when they play live. Lets keep pop music alive by getting it out of that dress and into a sweater.

The Winter of Mixed Drinks Competition!!

To celebrate the impending release of our third studio album, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, we’ve decided to run a competition! In keeping with the theme of mixed drinks, all you have to do to enter is post a video response or leave a comment in the Shout Box on the channel of you making your favourite cocktail, or a cocktail of your own making, and we’ll pick our favourite as our winner. The closing date is the 15th of February, so get creative and get filming! The winner will get two tickets to an upcoming gig in the UK or US and the opportunity to enjoy the winning drink with the band after the show.
