Imagination Quartet is an expressive music project launched in 2009. Though it clearly relies on classic jazz esthetics, it does not let itself be trapped in musical standards and common expectations.

21st November 2011 Imagination Quartet released their debut album . The album summarizes the hitherto activity of the band. It includes 11 original compositions, explicitly based on jazz esthetics, while retaining its special, unique character.

Drawing extensively on improvised, experimental music, IQ plays energetic, passionate, direct jazz, which will also surprise the listener with humorous taunts. Just as the name of the band says, it is music full of imagination, rich, unlimited, sitting where the line between harmony and frantic expression gets blurred.
