LaserLight is the seventh single from Who You Are and has already charted in Australia and New Zealand due to heavy downloads from Who You Are. The track has reached the top-fifty in Australia, top-forty in Romania and top-twenty in New Zealand.LaserLight was written by a number of writers including Jessie J, The Invisible Men, David Guetta, Giorgio Tuinfor and Frederic Riesterer and was produced by Guetta, Tuinfort and Riesterer.After Guetta was impressed by Jessie’s guest vocals on the track Repeat, he offered to return the favour with LaserLight for the platinum edition of Jessie's debut studio album, Who You Are.The release of LaserLight was confirmed by Jessie during an interview on BBC Radio 1.Even though LaserLight has not been released in the UK yet it has already received critically acclaim from music critics such as the website Idolator, who wrote that the song is “the clear winner" of the album's new tracks. Who You Are is Jessie J’s debut studio album. The album had such high demand and interest from fans, the release date was actually moved forward by over an entire month. Production for the album took place throughout 2010 and contains a wide range of producers, including Dr Luke, Toby Gad and K-Gee.Who You Are received mixed reviews from the critics. It debuted at number 2 in the UK Albums Chart selling and sold 105,000 copies in its first week. The album debuted in the US at number 11 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart with first-week sales of 34,000 copies.
