The official video for the Wide Awake Trailer by Katy Perry. Katy Parry is due to release 'Wide Awake' on July 2nd. The Single will be the eighth and final single from her hit album Teenage Dream era on July 2.

In the trailer we see a little girl flicking through a fairytale book, the book show’s Katy’s Teenage Dream campaign to date.

The 'Wide Awake' chapter in the book sees Katy teasing that a poison strawberry, a curious cat, Prince Charming and a little girl could feature.

The track was rumored to of been completed in only four days. Wide Awake represents a continued maturation of Katy Perry’s sound. There is a polished elegance to the song's music and lyrics that is a major leap beyond the hits that first brought Perry to the level she is at now.

The track has a melancholic tone which I’m sure represents her personal troubles but overall the feel is one of strength to face anything life can through at you.

Wide Awake is being released in support of Katy Perry's first ever concert film ‘Part of Me 3D’, which will be in cinemas in the UK and US from July 5.
