This is official music video for the song, ‘A Holly Jolly Christmas by American country music group Lady Antebellum which is composed of Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley. This music video was directed by Tk McKamy. It was a single taken from the debut studio album On This Winter’s Night which was released on October22, 2012. This was the third album released from the group. The music video which accompanies this song is very cheerful quite like the lyrics of the song which are upbeat.
The music video takes place at a Christmas party in a house and a the beginning we see Lady Antebellum sitting down singing opposite the fire place. Then we see people entering the house with gifts in their hands. After that, we see a little boy who sees the woman he fancies and so he decides to try and kiss her under the mistletoe. He pulls up a chair beside her and closes his eyes hoping for the best possible scenario that he gets his kiss. This symbolizes the boy’s innocence. Instead of the woman kissing him he got a kiss off a little girl his age. At the end of the music video he goes up to his room, takes out a book of different girls and ticks her off his list.
