Millions all over Europe and the world tuned in for the annual Eurovision Song Contest. Loreen stunned voters across Europe with her phenomenal performance of the mysterious song ‘Euphoria’. She came first by a significant margin beating the 2nd place Russian Grandmothers, the pre contest favorites, by a huge 113 points. This year the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Baku, Azerbaijan

The 28-year-old Swede has now returned home since the contest and has been greeted with great warmth by the Swedish public. On her return to the Swedish capital Stockholm, Loreen performed an impromptu balcony gig, where she sung to a huge crowd of fans with her famous Eurovision winning single all broadcast live on Swedish Television.

Loreen, birth name Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui is a Swedish pop singer who has recently shot to fame for winning the Eurovision song contest with her pan euro hit ‘Euphoroia’.

Loreen first shot at fame was when she entered Idol 2004. She had some success in the television competition coming fourth overall. One year on from the competition she released ‘Snake’, her first single with the band Rob'n'Raz. The success of the single led to her and becoming a television presenter on TV400, Where she worked as a segment producer and director for several Swedish reality TV shows. Follow the exposure from her TV work in 2011 she released the single "My Heart is Refusing Me" to large commercial success in her home country of Sweden.
