Lucy Rose has worked with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club and now she has released her debut single entitles Middle Of The Bed. On first listen, the new single by Lucy Rose sounds like it’s been plucked of Adele’s latest album and given a breath of life. An amazing vocalist, Lucy takes us through a rocky love story, using her incredible voice to build up and break down the track beautifully. In my eyes the definition of indie, this will definitely appeal to the stereotypical festival goer – though this isn’t to be pigeon holed, Lucy has tremendous mass appeal and this is reflected in her events calendar. In February of this year she played in Paris and Brussels, Scotland in June as well as Festivals throughout the summer. There’s more to look forward to, Lucy will be performing nationwide in the coming months with Bombay Bicycle Club and Ben Howard. The track ‘Middle of The Bed’ isn’t necessarily my cup of tea; however for people that enjoy this music – it’s fantastic, and wouldn’t sound out of place in the UK Top 40 charts.
