Following a chance meeting with a US Army colonel at South By South West, Bryden set aside her political preconceptions to entertain the troops in Iraq – not once, but twice – this year, and became, in the process, a Forces Sweetheart. Award winning documentary maker Susan Cohn Rockefeller, of the Rockefeller dynasty in the USA, commissioned a team of filmmakers to go with Bryden on her second visit.
