This is the official music video for the song “Little Talks” from Icelandic Indie-folk/pop band Of Monsters and Men. “Little Talks” is the debut single from Of Monsters and Men and is the lead single from their debut studio album “My Head Is An Animal” and it is also featured on the “In To The Woods [EP]”. “Little Talks” was written by Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson, and produced by Aron Þór Arnarsson.

In the US, the song first appeared on Radio 104.5 in Philadelphia and it was an immediate success as it suddenly began spreading nationwide.

The music video for “Little Talks” was directed by Mihai Wilson and Marcella Moser. The video is about five “Sailors of the Sky” which are played by members of the band and how they are on an adventure searching for a lost mythical creature. Throughout this adventure they are exploring the land and fighting off monsters. Eventually they come across this mythical creature that is played by Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and she takes them home to the land of her people.

In 2012 the music video was nominated for “Best Art Direction In A Video” at the “MTV Video Music Awards”.
