Pixie Lott Music Video Turn It Up. Pixie Lott's Music Video Turn It Up is the fifth single released from her debut album Turn It Up. Fraser Mc Alpine of the BBC describes the track as a perfect album track whilst Digital Spy characterises the single as synth-pop with overtone of R&B. The single charted extensively in the European Charts reaching number 11 in the UK. This video was shot in Los Angeles in mid April 2010.
The Official video for “Turn It Up” is a song by the English recording artist Pixie Lott from the studio album “Turn It Up” (2009). Written by Pixie Lott, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Jonas Jeberg and Mich Hansen, the track was released as the album's fifth single on 7th June 2010. The song was remixed with echo effects and a "brasher" overdub for the single version. The video was shot in LA mid April 2010, and premiered on 6th May 2010. It is literal of the song's lyrics; it features her walking the back streets of LA whilst singing, before cutting to several different scenes, on the rooftops of many different buildings where she can be seen singing and dancing during the sunrise and sunset. The theme of the song is how two lovers will try to hold their relationship together, even if it just isn't working. How after all the frustration of it, they will eventually decide to end the drama and break up, wishing the best to one another and keeping good memories of their times together. The first time that she performed the song was on the third semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent: Series 4, 2nd June 2010. Digital Spy: "While Danish duo Cutfather & Joe supply a suitably synthy pop-R&B backdrop—complete with sing-along chorus—Lott gets down to the nitty-gritty of splitting up. 'I know you can't stay, so I won't be waiting, anticipating for the fall,' she sings, before trotting out that old chestnut about time being a healer. It's a terribly mature approach from one so young, but what else would you expect from a 19-year-old who already has a platinum album, a fashion line and a US film role to her name?"
