This is the official music video for the song, ‘We are never ever getting back together’ by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. This song was written by Taylor Swift herself, Max Martin and Shellback. It was also produced by Max Martin and Shellback. It was released on August13, 2012 as the lead single from her fourth studio album Red. This song has two genres which are pop and bubblegum pop and was inspired by an ex-boyfriend of Taylor Swift's who wishes to get back with her. However, she is adamant this is not happening. This song is a lot less guitar based than Taylor Swift's previous work.

The start of the video is in her apartment where her boyfriend asks her to take him back and him promises he will change. He then leaves the room and Taylor Swift celebrates by dancing with her friends. The next scene is him calling her while he is in a nightclub and her hanging up the phone. He persistently begs for her forgiveness in this music video yet she turns him down every time. The video ends with Taylor Swift once again, slamming the door in her ex’s face.
