The XX return with their brand new single Chained, which is taken from their latest album Coexist. The music video sees the band donning their wet suits and taking to the water in what has been called a new way to create music videos. The music video for Chained was directed by LA based production company called Young Replicant and The XX were quoted as saying they loved how the video turned out and that it wasn’t easy spending two days underwater. The incredible slow motion visual directed by Young Replicant for The Creators Project, features band members Jamie Smith, Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim diving into a large body of water, floating, swimming and submerging to the sublime soundscape. The XX will be taking back to the road later this year as they embark on a mini UK tour where they will be performing in London, Bristol, Brighton and Newcastle.
