"Forever Is Over" is a pop single by British and Irish girl group and pop ladies The Saturdays. Forever is Over was released in October of 2009. The song was written by many people including Louis Biancaniello, Sam Watters, James Bourne and was produced by The Runaways. Forver Is Over was released as the lead single from The Saturday’s second studio album Wordshaker. Forver is Over reached number one on the digital download charts and then a week after its release date the single charted number two on the UK Singles Charts and number nine in the Irish Singles Charts. Forever Is Over was the band’s highest charting single, behind their charity single release, "Just Can't Get Enough" which was a cover of the infamous Depeche Mode track, and was released for Comic Relief. Receiving positive reviews from critics, the track is a power pop song that verges into pop rock territory, showing of the vocal prowess of The Saturdays. . The Saturdays were formed in the year of 2007 through Fascination Records, and received and instant record deal with Fascination, which is a sub-division of Polydor Records. The Saturdays first hit the big time when they released their debut single “If This is Love“, which is was their top ten hit. The then released their first mainstream studio album which was called Chasing Lights. It was accredited platinum certification by the British Phonographic Industry, while “Up“, “Issues” and “Just Can’t Get Enough” all received silver certifications. The band then began a sell-out tour The Work Tour. While on tour The Saturdays began recording their second studio album, Wordshaker released in October 2009, which gained silver certification by BPI.
