As the second single from their second studio album, Battleground, the official music video for ‘Glad You Came’ by British and Irish boy-band The Wanted attempts to shatter the groups squeaky clean-cut image with footage of the boys on a ‘lads trip’ to Ibiza. The video follows members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes going wild on the party-island with a group of girls, showing them get up to all kinds of mischief on the beach, the club and through late-night Ibiza streets. Jay revealed in an interview that "The theory of the video was take The Wanted to Ibiza and just film everything and then just cut bits that were useable”, with live footage of the band on the beach, in a club and at a houseparty each with an individual woman. ‘Glad You Came’ is a dance-pop song released on 10 July 2011. This dance song is the second single from The Wanted's album "Battleground". The song debuted in the Irish charts at #1, the band’s first single to do so. Tom Parker described the song as a "perfect song for the summer which really gets you in the mood for a party". Other singles from The Wanted’s second album include ‘Lightning’, ‘Warzone’ and ‘Gold Forever’. The song ‘Glad You Came’ is also to be featured in an upcoming episode of GLEE in 2012.
