Here are some nice pentatonic lines, some sweep picking and even some fast alternate picking. There are even some big Dream Theater influences in here. To start we hit some pentatonic riffs followed by some sweep picking straight into the fast descending alternate picking line. Very Yngwie!!!! I want you to slow this down and loop the last section so that you get the exact feel of it. The Dream Theater influence is at the very end of the solo. This is a melody that repeats three or four times until the end. I want you to listen to Eric Johnson as well. He really has a nice touch and does a lot of these types of solos. Work on your alternate picking and gradually speed up the licks until you feel comfortable playing them relaxed. Rock it out!
