Wheatus are an American rock group from Northport, New York, who are best known for their 2000 single 'Teenage Dirtbag', which charted at No. 2 in the UK, featured in the film 'Loser' and the HBO miniseries 'Generation Kill'. In March 2011 this song caused quite a stir on Twitter, having charted at number 43 but climbed to 35 a week later (nearly eleven years after it's initial release), it became a trending topic for two Sundays in a row. Building on this success and with a new line up, they have embarked on a full 32 - date tour in the UK which includes Loughborough Students Union on 3rd October, London's O2 Academy, Islington on 6th October, and concludes at Ironworks in Inverness on 16th October 2011.
